When a favorite NBA podcast of mine went off the air a few years ago, I came across No Dunks and specifically used a (recent at the time) episode talking about the announcement of Derrick Rose’s jersey retirement as a test run. Off-court behavior shouldn’t entirely taint a player’s larger legacy IMO, but it is a part of it.
