Just getting dipped into the film industry like skinny dipping in lake placid (terrible production, acting, etc.)but still putting myself out there. I have had tons of hobbies and have decided to dabble in film but it was when I turned you guys on that I decided to really give it a go, getting laser focused (pew pew pew) and just letting it happen. Your humor, knowledge, and willingness to share makes for a 5-star podcast. I still need to watch your video streams of it though. 9 out of 10 denti... more
If you’re a filmmaker in any way, these guys know what they’re talking about, even though they’re drunk, and pretty funny. As a writer, listening to the “coming up with an idea” episode was pretty hysterical. Very true.
The listeners who have given this podcast a negative review apparently know as much about what it takes to make a good podcast, as they know about what it takes to make a decent film on little, to no money! This podcast is exactly what the no/low budget filmmaking crowd needs! Good, solid information from a couple of guys who obviously have the experience to run a podcast like this! Entertaining, informative, and funny as hell! Keep up the good work guys!
I find it’s disrespectful to your listeners when you keep talking about where you went and what you’re drinking etc. Just get to the point. If it’s a podcast about shotlists I’d like to hear about shotlists not about if you’d ever direct a Star Wars movies.
