Reviews

4.3 out of 5 stars from 36 ratings
  • Solid info but…

Solid information that covers a range of fitness based subjects but they introduce themselves and the topic in each podcast like 5 or 6 times depending on the length which becomes a bit of a time waste and annoyance. Other than that quality content.

Benefits of Red Light Therapy for Brain Longevity
Q: How might photobiomodulation be used in athletic programs for pre- and post-workout benefits?
PBM is used pre-workout to enhance brain and muscular system readiness, potentially improving performance, and post-workout for recovery and consolidation of learning, with alpha/theta states aiding rest and glymphatic clearance.
Benefits of Red Light Therapy for Brain Longevity
Q: What is the fundamental mechanism by which near-infrared light interacts with mitochondria to affect cellular function?
PBM activates mitochondrial receptors, notably cytochrome C oxidase, leading to increased ATP production, release of nitric oxide to improve blood flow, and triggering transcription factors that enhance cellular growth and repair, which can support brain health.

What Fitness Trainers Can Learn from Product Engineering
Q: What does it take for a fitness professional to evolve into a 2.0 version of themselves?
