This story was so triggering for me parallels my experience. The only difference is we did not have children together. Thank you for sharing your story. Your story helped me to not feel so alone.
Just explaining the experiences you go through with these ‘things’ ,(they do not serve to be called people imho)@ sounds crazy to those who have not gone thru it or who have known somebody who did.
Thank you again for your strength and familiarity in your story. ❤️
Thankyou Brandon and all who make this podcast and share their stories. All the stories are powerful, heartbreaking, and showing listeners paths to strength, wisdom, and perseverance.
Just listened to Top 10 Excuses based on cultural norms episode, and it was so refreshing to hear someone, especially a man, calling out the expectations placed on women to keep accommodating and absorbing all the deficits in a relationship.
I absolutely love this podcast. The validation is priceless. As all survivors know, people who haven’t lived through this type of abuse cannot fully comprehend how it affects you. It makes you doubt your entire worldview. The insight shared by other survivors helps it make sense.
