Jack is my nephew so Mabel was also my aunt! I can remember as a small child visiting Bena, and my mother talking about what fun it was when Mabel visited her as a child. She was an extraordinary woman but as a family we didn’t realise what a pioneer she was. She was just Aunt Mabel who created that famous Buggins family on the wireless.
