Thanks to you all for working as hard as you do, to bring us this entertaining review of the Archers. Very sad to hear that Lauren is leaving - I love her observations, and she doesn’t try to be funny, which often makes her comments the most amusing!
I don't understand all the hatred of Helen...might it be, because she's a woman? Why not the annoying male characters. There are quite a few. Why don't you sit back and and reflect....my gosh, let Helen be.
The show hosts welcome the Archers Listening community to join them in venting, explaining, theorizing, and reminiscing about the characters and scripts. Plus, you can ask your burning questions directly to the guests (actors and writers from the show) — an unheard of bonus! I’m so glad o have found this place to feel at home with fellow Archers listeners.
Whilst I don’t always believe in the cast’s opinions, it’s a great podcast that I enjoy listening to every week.
I love Lauren’s YouTube channel Lauren And The Books and used to love The Archers when I was younger but, since being Vegan I can’t stomach the glamourising on the farming areas.
