If you’re finding the trailers too much have a listen to “Hometown Boring” on BBC Sounds. It’s a perfect break from the stresses of Ambridge!
Personally we really dislike them but accept other folk may welcome them. As a suggestion, rather than preceding The Archers (thereby disturbing our listening) why not follow the episode and please everyone.
I love the Archers, but please can we have more trailers for other unrelated podcasts. It really helps break up the flow of the drama. Especially the ones that are repeated and say “let me tell you something you might not know”. Those give us the chance in our own small way to enter into the drama and pretend we don’t know and listen with surprised ears. 😃😃
Kate’s rant about Alice is bang on!
Love the Archers - have listened from birth. Am also a big fan of podcasts BUT not a fan of the trailers beforehand. Not because they are poor, but because the same ones are there week after week. Just bored by them. Please mix it up a bit. I actually listened to Helena Bonham Carter’s the other day because it was new.
