I used to love the Archers until it became a nonsensical soap opera with ridiculous storylines . Bring back intelligent info about the farming community
My ‘space’ to enjoy 13 minutes of common sense, meaningful drama
Love listening and have done for decades.
Harrison back in the village fur Christmas. He’s been visual on tv in Coronation Street as a partner of Todd.he is abusing him dreadfully, as the storyline goes. Now he is back in the Archers I cannot listen to him as anything but an abuser!
I lived in Scotland for 17 years and loved listening to the Archers on Radio 4. I moved to the States and missed it for a few years, until I started listening to podcasts and voila! It’s great to listening again and the calmer way of life in the village (mostly!). It’s a tonic for today’s increasingly hostile, angry, divided world.
