these last 2 episodes have been a joy to listen to, well done to Jacquieline and Theo, really hope they continue with these 2 female presenters!
Good analysis of the week in Ambridge with both hosts and callers offering their thoughts. Neither are shy to criticize the program when necessary, without too much of a love to hate attitude. I really enjoy Theo as a new host and hope we’ll hear a lot more from her.
I had a slow start with the pod cast but like the Archers I can not put it down now.
I’ve listened along time but the format is getting a bit tired.
listening along to people reading out tweets and facebook posts is not for me anymore, I would join the x and the fb page if I wanted them. (and thank goodness they stopped reading out full BlueSky email addresses)
The comments from the phone-eriner-ers each week gives a welcome change up from the stale repetitive middle class opinions (often out of touch).

A thoughtful, fan-driven weekly discussion centered on a long-running rural-UK soap, blending episode recaps with listener call-ins, reader feedback, and social media reactions. Conversations frequently orbit core storylines, character motivations, and ongoing arcs, while predicting twists and exploring governance, inheritance, family dynamics, and moral questions. Noteworthy is the strong sense of community across global listeners, the mix of analytic critique and warm banter, and occasional guest call-ins that broaden perspectives beyond the core duo of hosts. This show likely appeals to engaged superfans who enjoy theory crafting, behind-the-scenes context, and a collaborative listening experience that feels like a weekly village meetup.... more
