Truly love the podcast but why has it been delayed due to the later broadcasting of the omnibus? It doesn’t make any sense
I started listening to Ambridge on the Couch about six months ago…I’ve been an Archers fan for about 8 years now and I wish I’d found AotC earlier! It’s the perfect accompaniment to The Archers and I’m now addicted to both. There hasn’t been a single podcast episode where I haven’t rewound and rewound again to listen to a particularly funny comment, or just to listen to the fits of giggles between Harriet, Lucy and Jeff. more
My favourite weekly podcast, and a must for regular Archers listeners with a sense of humour. Lucy’s weekly summaries and scripts for the vignettes are hilarious and Harriet’s uncanny ability to morph into many of the characters’ voices is amazing. And the regular makeover and styling advice from Febreeze of Felpersham is second-to-none, of course!
So glad I found this podcast, I love listening in each week and laughing out loud, my husband and friends don’t follow the Archers so this podcast gives me the gossip and guessing I need along with the humour, great work guys, thanks for what you do :)
A whimsical and irreverent but nonetheless affectionate weekly critique of the unique institution that is BBC Radio 4’s The Archers. Highly recommended!
