The Archers content is excellent. Love the weekly recap, listener’s emails and chat around what is happening in Ambridge. Skits are good too. Lucy is a great writer.
However, on a negative note, Jeff cannot stop talking about his ex wife. She features in every single episode. I know so much more about her than I need to. I sincerely hope she doesn’t mind how many of her life experiences get used as podcast fodder. The detailed birth story and then wedding story tipped me over the edge this wee... more

love this podcast. only complaint is why do we have to wait till 11.45am on a Sunday to listen? Can’t it be released on a timer at 12.01am, like all other podcasts, so those of us who get up early to walk the dog can get an early morning giggle on our walks. Thanks!

Harriet’s shoes are difficult to fill and
Jeff is doing a good job but the podcast has become less whimsical and too serious. I think that because they have more time it’s often used for diversions down serious and often boring avenues about parenting, therapy and “poor downtrodden George”. I never thought I’d want a shorter podcast but if I’m not driving I have to fast forward through these sections.
