What a great addition to the CCOMG and a great first episode to kick it off!
I really enjoyed listening to MAC and Ryan deep dive into Phyrexia: All Will Be One and I loved the strictly better game at the end. Getting to listen to Ryan try to guess the cards was fun, but having the chance to win a little sumpin’ sumpin’ for playing along is a nice touch!
This new show is a must-listen for any commander-loving Magic the Gathering player!
As a young(ish) Magic player, I never really got to play through most of this game’s history, and it’s so interesting to hear the historical context of the changes we see in the meta and general deck building decisions over time. We’re starting with some recent sets which I love, and I’m super excited to delve further back as well!
