  • Congrats on 300 Episodes!

I am not a monster kid. But I do love movies, and these monster kids of “Monster Party” have opened up a whole new genre of films for me to enjoy and even cherish. If you’re a monster kid, obviously, this podcast is custom made for you. But even if you just love movies like me, come on in and join the “Monster Party.” It’s a blast.

  • Smart hosts, smart topics for the horror fan

This is my new favorite podcast. Not only does it cover an amazing array of horror geeky topics with amazing guests (Disneyland with Bob Gurr! Horror comics with David Schow!), but the hosts themselves have a great width and depth of knowledge and experience in horror and the entertainment industry

    Fantastic find, jump in!

  • Cheers to my favorite gang of monsters

This show is the greatest & smartest source for sci-fi, horror and fantasy media. The guys have episodes on pretty much every topic you might think of with very few exceptions (i.e dr. Who & chittychittybangbang).

My only criticism is that they aren’t actually inviting me & my friends over for a party irl.

I just want you to know that I recommend this to all the canonically cool people I know. I particularly want Shawn to know that you all have kept me entertained and laughing out here in the ... more

    Dear Men of MONSTER PARTY,

My name is Mark Pitta and I’ve been a guest on the show several times (episodes 47, 183, 212, 225, 242…topics include clichés, weapons, movie quotes, movie marquee, holiday bash, and so on and on.) I recently re-listened to a random episode with Greg Proops on delinquents & hooligans so my question is, has Larry finally seen Near Dark? Also, I am a Patreon member now, but could not find the John Carpenter video you spoke of in that episode. Thank you and remember “it’... more
