  • Larry is my Kirk Hammet

Recently I was ENRAGED to find a certain Larry bidding on a coveted Popy Jumbosaurus. With working talker!

And dropping over 500 bucks to win it!

Now I’m scarred for life. Just like Larry and a certain member of Metallica.

Just kidding of course. I was happy to see it going to a good home.

Share the joy and let out that mighty roar on the show!

    Thanks fellas!

  • Congrats on 300 Episodes!

I am not a monster kid. But I do love movies, and these monster kids of “Monster Party” have opened up a whole new genre of films for me to enjoy and even cherish. If you’re a monster kid, obviously, this podcast is custom made for you. But even if you just love movies like me, come on in and join the “Monster Party.” It’s a blast.

  • Smart hosts, smart topics for the horror fan

This is my new favorite podcast. Not only does it cover an amazing array of horror geeky topics with amazing guests (Disneyland with Bob Gurr! Horror comics with David Schow!), but the hosts themselves have a great width and depth of knowledge and experience in horror and the entertainment industry

    Fantastic find, jump in!

  • Cheers to my favorite gang of monsters

This show is the greatest & smartest source for sci-fi, horror and fantasy media. The guys have episodes on pretty much every topic you might think of with very few exceptions (i.e dr. Who & chittychittybangbang).

My only criticism is that they aren’t actually inviting me & my friends over for a party irl.

I just want you to know that I recommend this to all the canonically cool people I know. I particularly want Shawn to know that you all have kept me entertained and laughing out here in the ... more

TWISTED BLU-RAY GEMS!!! With ETHAN HULL!
Q: What makes a Severin release distinct from other labels in terms of restoration and film selection?
Severin focuses on regional cinema and often prioritizes unique cultural artifacts, with careful restoration led by in-house facilities and collaboration with specialists like Joe Rubin for restoration, ensuring prints are preserved and presented with integrity.
TWISTED BLU-RAY GEMS!!! With ETHAN HULL!
Q: Ethan, how do you and Severin decide which movies to pursue for Blu-ray releases and how do you track down the prints?
The process is driven by the owners, especially David Gregory, who travels the world and leverages a long-standing network of distributors and collectors to locate prints, negotiate estates, and ensure quality control across restoration facilities in LA and Europe.
LEGAL GEEKING!!! With JOSH GILLILAND!
Q: Josh, what is your podcast The Legal Geeks about and how did it come about?
Josh explains that The Legal Geeks uses pop culture as a foil to discuss the law, born from a shared geek love of sci‑fi and comics, and aims to illuminate legal concepts through storytelling rather than giving formal legal advice.
JAWS: 50 YEARS OF FRIGHTS AND BITES!!! With PAT JANKIEWICZ!
Q: How did you gather stories for your book on Jaws?
I did numerous interviews, including one with a local teacher who was in the movie and had extensive information about the production.

Q: Was it a dream of yours to write about Jaws?
It was indeed a dream since Jaws is considered one of my favorite films.
