We finished up Spooky Season with a special show of classics. It's a John Carpenter double feature...kinda! We start it off with Halloween 2 (1981) more of the night he came home. There are lots of behind-the-scenes bits here and stories. We also dis... more
Hey, Whole Damn Family, It's our 31st episode! Just in time for Halloween week! Its our longest title yet! Too many words in these movie titles! But regardless of the wordy names, it's a double helping of director Eli Craig. First, his (2010) feature... more
Hey whole Damn Family. It's time we conjure up a double dose of the Warrens. Everyone's favorite paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine. This is true stuff! No one could make this up. It's not Hollywood fakery; this is real life, true things that h... more
What we have here is a supersized version of witchery, just in time for the Halloween season. We start off with a classic, Dario Argento's (1977) Suspiria. It's obvious from the fake Italian accent enthusiasm that the boys enjoy this one! There's lot... more

Brothers Mike McCarty and James Knight offer an hilariously reverent-and at times lovingly irreverent-insider’s knowledge take on modern horror films and an historical antecedent. And all peppered with casual asides such as Mike (who’s the shop sup... more

I would give it 10 stars but Apple doesn’t allow a true grading scale. Great podcast about horror movies. One of the guys is an old biker, the other a coastal elite. Their dichotomy lends itself to interesting stories. Overall possibly the best horror podcast available. Now send me a coffee mug!
I’ve never been a podcast enjoyer honestly, but these two have genuinely changed my outlook on podcasts as a whole. Their unique approach: taking a new horror film paired with a similar older film is genius. You can tell they know their stuff; their breakdowns are what you'd expect from industry insiders or die-hard horror aficionados. It’s exciting to see my favorite films and even more exciting when they cover something I’ve never seen. Gives me a new film to check out.
Seriously, if you're a ... more
So happy I crossed paths with this podcast because they are so dang funny and the insight from people in the industry in one way or another is the best. I hate the wait in between episodes because I really can’t get enough. They’re also so handsome 😍 Aaaoooooga!
