  • Definitely not non partisan

Why would you call the recent tax bill “One Big Beautiful Bill” over and over like you have so much glee about this harmful bill? You could have referenced it once with this ridiculous and nonsensical name, and then called it by its neutral legislative name of H.R.1. You also did not outline all of the negative impacts this bill will have. Can’t follow someone who clearly is a MAGA who wants to eat their cake and watch others suffer.

5 Smart Money Management Tips for a Shaky Economy: Mastering Mindful Spending in 2026
Q: Should I use that money to pay down high-interest debt or save for an emergency fund during a shaky economy?
Prioritize building an emergency fund if you don't already have a solid cushion, aiming for three to six months of expenses, then consider paying down high-interest debt. If you have enough emergency savings, you can split the extra toward both goals.
How Can I Stop Overpaying for Home Insurance?
Q: Is there any way to reduce home insurance while complying with what's required by my mortgage lender?
Yes. You can raise deductibles within your budget, bundle or compare rates across insurers, check coverage amounts to ensure you're not over- or under-insured, make eligible home upgrades for discounts, and actively ask for discounts so you don't miss savings. Always verify that any changes meet your lender's requirements before finalizing.
Navigating Taxes with TurboTax Expert Lisa Greene-Lewis
Q: How do TurboTax and QuickBooks work together for filing?
Income and expenses can be tracked in QuickBooks and exported to TurboTax, reducing manual entry and helping separate business and personal expenses; experts can also work with your QuickBooks data.
Navigating Taxes with TurboTax Expert Lisa Greene-Lewis
Q: What should a self-employed person do with income from side gigs and 1099 forms?
Track income and expenses, use appropriate forms (1099-NEC or 1099-K), and multiply efforts with deductions to lower taxes, including keeping receipts for business-related purchases.
Navigating Taxes with TurboTax Expert Lisa Greene-Lewis
Q: Tell me a little bit about your role at TurboTax and how tax preparation software has evolved.
Lisa explains she's a CPA and TurboTax spokesperson who explains taxes in simple terms, with software that keeps up with changing laws and offers year-round expert support.
