  • Definitely not non partisan

Why would you call the recent tax bill “One Big Beautiful Bill” over and over like you have so much glee about this harmful bill? You could have referenced it once with this ridiculous and nonsensical name, and then called it by its neutral legislative name of H.R.1. You also did not outline all of the negative impacts this bill will have. Can’t follow someone who clearly is a MAGA who wants to eat their cake and watch others suffer.

Good Debt vs Bad Debt: Your Plan for Paying Off Debt Faster
Q: Elizabeth asks for a platform with very low fees and no minimum ongoing transfers to start investing, and whether to max out retirement accounts before opening a brokerage account.
Laura suggests maxing out retirement accounts first, then considering a taxable brokerage later; she praises platforms like Betterment and encourages shopping around for options with low fees and no onerous automatic transfer requirements.
Should I invest a lump sum or equally throughout the year?
Q: Should I max out my IRA with a lump sum or spread it out over the year?
Laura explains that maxing out a yearly IRA with a lump sum can be wise if the investor has high risk tolerance or if they prefer the certainty of completion, while dollar-cost averaging offers reduced volatility and automatic habit-building, which can be better for those who need to avoid timing the market. The best choice depends on personal finances, risk tolerance, and whether the investor can tolerate potential short-term market dips.
