Julie is a great host and has a fantastic knack for making stories engaging. Love listening!
I may be a bit biased because the host, Julie, is a colleague and I was an interview subject for one of the episodes, but I'm also a mom looking for great road trip ideas! Midwest Travel podcast gives me wonderful resources from a real mom that help us decide where to spend our limited time. I definitely recommend it if you prefer down-to-earth tips rather than fancy editorial!
The Midwest is an often overlooked destination and there is so much to see and do there. It's great to get some ideas, travel tips and such from an expert. Love the interviews!
I've enjoyed the Midwest Travel podcast as both a listener and a guest of the show. Julie does a great job of offering insight on destinations from the perspective of a parent, while maintaining a 'grown-up' professionalism in each episode.
Lots of ideas for seniors who travel the Midwest. Affordable ideas and good background info.
I love this podcast!
The tips are excellent, and I love the focus on the highlights plus the off-beat and untraveled or lesser known as well.
I really enjoy the wide breadth of subjects, along with a host who is conversational in a casual, relaxed fashion. A refreshing change from the stilted hosts who try way too hard to sound "professional" We do not need any more "Radio" voices…i for one enjoy the authenticity of someone who does reporting from the heart, with soul.
