  • Stopped Listening

Still love Donny, but after listening for a couple months, I got tired of Chaps’ condescending, rigid tone to anything not directly aligned with his views. Became very off-putting after a while and made me stop listening.

Great content, casual flow, some tangents but no takeover tangents. I train on foot for endurance events- solid add to the pod lineup to keep the brain working when I’m tired.

Stop Being an Idiot With Your Airline Miles - The Point Guy Shows Us How | Drop A Pin Ep. 76
Q: How do you decide when to use a travel portal vs transferring points?
Travel portals can be convenient, but the best value often comes from transferring points into airline/hotel programs and booking through those programs, where pricing can be significantly better and taxes/fees can differ.
Stop Being an Idiot With Your Airline Miles - The Point Guy Shows Us How | Drop A Pin Ep. 76
Q: What is the basic structure for using credit card points to book flights to Europe?
Transfer the transferable points (like Amex MR, Chase UR, Citi TY) into airline programs (e.g., Flying Blue, Virgin, Delta, Star Alliance partners) and compare pricing across programs to pick the cheapest or best-value option before booking. Also check taxes and fees.
What Is Iran Actually Like? A Persian American Answers | Drop A Pin Ep. 70

The protests were sparked by a combination of economic struggles and a demand for basic human rights.
The American Tourist Who Illegally Traveled to North Sentinel Island | Drop A Pin Ep. 67 (📍North Sentinel Island)
Q: How did the Indian government respond to your actions?
They arrested me, and I was treated as a missing person first before being charged.
The American Tourist Who Illegally Traveled to North Sentinel Island | Drop A Pin Ep. 67 (📍North Sentinel Island)
Q: What was your plan if like you pull up on your dinghy and they're shooting arrows at you?
To keep my distance; my goal was to get footage, not to engage.
