  • The worst!!!

Gunnar Olsen is a red headed clown,

Listening to his nonsense, man get outta town.

He starts the show with ‘Yo’ and ends the show with ‘C-ya’,

I want nothing to do with this BAM! Onomatopoeia.

Poor Kyle Potter sits quietly by,

whilst Canada and O’hare are thrown on the fly.

You think sky pesos are worthless just wait till you see,

Turn on the POD Gunnar hosts that they call TT.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Bilt Has Us Wondering: Is Chase Still King of Travel Rewards?
Q: Chase Sapphire Reserve changes broadly; should we still care about Chase points?
Chase remains solid but less dominant; the Sapphire Reserve changes, higher annual fees, and removal of 3x travel earn have reduced its edge, making diversification and considering other programs more prudent.
Bilt Has Us Wondering: Is Chase Still King of Travel Rewards?
Q: Jennifer asked about the new Bilt cards complex math; is it worth engaging with Bilt to collect points?
Yes, for those with large ongoing expenses like daycare or mortgage payments, the Bilt Palladium can be worthwhile due to 2x earning on non-bonus spend and Bilt Cash that helps cover mortgage payments, though it requires commitment to Bilt as a primary spend platform.
Bilt Has Us Wondering: Is Chase Still King of Travel Rewards?
Q: Is Chase still the king of travel rewards?
Nick suggests Chase is no longer undisputed; they're sharing the throne with other programs like Bilt and LifeMiles, and diversification is increasingly important to maximize flexibility and value.
The Dirty Little Secrets of Points & Miles
Q: What are Melanie's questions about how people earn so many points, and how influencers may be involved in this process?
Melanie asks how people are able to travel so frequently in luxurious ways and whether influencers disclose how they earn so many points, implying that some methods may not be transparent. The hosts explain the realities: many travelers use multiple credit cards, business cards, referrals, and even work-related travel to accumulate points, but emphasize that not everyone can or should replicate those strategies.
Our Biggest, Most Embarrassing Travel Mistakes
Q: Denise asks how to approach booking business class to New Zealand when availability is tight.
We recommend using a mix of strategies: hold a flexible economy placeholder, keep multiple points pools ready, and book one-way segments separately to keep options open and avoid losing access if a single leg changes. As departure nears, refine hotels and transport while ensuring you have enough points to convert into the needed cabin, and be prepared to adjust dates or routings as needed.
