  • The BEST

This is my favorite podcast I follow several travel and points podcasts and this is the best. They are honest and upfront, willing to accept feedback and alternative opinions and discuss them. Their facebook group is also the best out there they’re patient even with newbies. Their e-mails are really helpful and clearly summarize many different topics. I always look forward to new episodes popping up. Thank you and keep doing what you’re doing!

  • Travel Hacker’s Bible

If you’re into the travel hacking game. Getting extreme value and benefits through credit cards, promotions, and manufacturered spending…. Look no further! These guys are the gospel. They give great insight to wire or retire your brain to see opportunities and travel the world incredibly cheaply or in otherwise often out of reach luxury! Nick and Greg have natural chemistry. Batting ideas effortlessly and giving keen insight into the game. Definitely recommend listening to these guys and followi... more

  • Not great

Greg is rarely prepared with information, even for segments on the show. It shows contempt he has for listeners. Arrogance, like people take time to listen but he won’t be prepared for his own show! Without Nick the show would be painful although Nick talks and talks and talks.

Does product changing ruin trip protections? | Question of the Week Ep1 | 4-27-26
Q: What should I consider when deciding whether to downgrade or keep the premium card open for trip protections?
They suggest weighing trip cost and the importance of protections; if the trip is expensive, keeping the high‑level protection (or using a strategy of downgrading and potentially re-upgrading) can be worth paying the annual fee, whereas for cheaper trips downgrading and claiming later may be reasonable.
Does product changing ruin trip protections? | Question of the Week Ep1 | 4-27-26
Q: Are there any negative impacts if I product change before travel?
The hosts explain that coverages are generally active from purchase to trip completion, and that downgrading from a card with higher protections to a no‑fee option may still leave you covered for many trips, but for expensive or high-stakes trips you might want to keep the premium card open or downgrade/up upgrade strategically to preserve protections.
Rove Miles: Transferable Points without a credit card | Frequent Miler on the Air Ep349 | 3-13-26
Q: Why should a listener consider using Rove Miles instead of sticking to traditional credit-card-based earning programs?
Rove Miles provide a path to earn transferable points without needing a credit card, with optional boosts from referrals, shopping portals, and direct bookings. For some, especially those avoiding credit cards or seeking higher-value transfer partners (like Japan Airlines or SAS), this can offer competitive value when carefully math-checked against cash costs and alternative earning routes.
Private Island ultra-all-inclusive barefoot luxury: $2,500 rebate | Frequent Miler on the Air Ep345 | 2-13-26
Q: What do I need to do on the front end to prepare for these contingencies?
Taking photographs of your luggage before the trip could help if you need to document a lost bag.
Fine Hotels + Resorts® vs The Edit by Chase Travel℠ | Coffee Break Ep93 | 2-17-26
Q: What are the key differences between Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts and Chase's The Edit?
Amex offers guaranteed benefits like daily breakfast and 4 p.m. late checkout, while Chase provides better value for points and more flexible credits.
