  • Learn how to create a self funded startup step by step

Microconf is the best resource out there for those wanting to start a self funded business, like a SaaS app for instance. I’ve been following the content since 2016 and I credit a lot of what I have learnt and that has enabled me to create a $250,000 ARR two-person bootstrapped company at age 30 to this resource. It’s the best education you’ll ever get and extremely practical!

Podcast format makes it so much more accessible to me as putting time aside to watch is hard, time to listen is easy!

Q: If you were starting from scratch today, how would you approach AI?
I would solve a real existing problem with AI and target four experts so that even though AI isn't perfect, the product remains valuable because the domain allows for expert intervention and rapid improvements, rather than trying to build a broad, general AI app.
MicroConf Tactics: How TinySeed Helped Harris Grow His SaaS to $500k ARR (in 1 Year)
Q: What did the first few weeks of the program look like from a founder's perspective?
Harris described the first week as huge with meeting his cohort and gaining valuable connections that helped shape his business model, particularly through conversations that led to developing their partner program.
MicroConf Tactics: How TinySeed Helped Harris Grow His SaaS to $500k ARR (in 1 Year)
Q: Before we get into what happened after you joined, take us back. Where was your business right before joining TinySeed?
Harris was running an outbound agency and realized that the tools didn't talk to each other. He had tested various SaaS ideas and felt that he was starting to gain momentum with OutboundSync, leading him to apply to TinySeed.
MicroConf Tactics: How to Find PROFITABLE Micro SaaS Ideas in 2025
