  • Finally a Teacher that puts things together by using scripture to define scripture

Rabbi Berkson passionately teaches the scriptures and knows the front of the book from the back. This helps sort out things that make you say “what?!?!” when reading the New Testament by explaining where it came out of the Old Testament. You might not like what he says but you know he’s spent hours verifying it before speaking.

  • Puzzled

I don’t know how someone who teaches the Torah and old covenant which is ProJewish or Hebrew is anti Semitic. That’s usually applies to Westerners or places where Charismatic Christians, who mostly have Greek interpretation of scripture, rather than Hebraic interpretation & understanding.

I certainly know YHWH is a controversial name by itself, He was also wherever He went and didn’t have to speak. This explains why some people feel the need or temptation to attack the character of a teacher of ... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Episode 1188: In The Zone | May 2026 | Part 2
Q: From Gerald Monroe: Is there biblical instruction to count the Omer or count the days and weeks, and where did the phrase originate?
The counting is tied to the period between the wave sheaf and Shavuot, connected to Hebrew language and traditions; the wording and term Omer arose over time as the counting became customary.
Episode 1188: In The Zone | May 2026 | Part 2
Q: From Richard Granger: Is it acceptable to keep my second tithe money in a high-yield savings account to build interest while keeping it separated from other finances?
The guidance given encourages earning interest on idle funds if it helps the tithe, with the understanding that the tithe should be used for its designated feasts or obligations and not subject to additional tithe on the earned interest itself.
Episode 1159: In The Zone | February 2026 | Part 2
Q: How should we count the days for the sign of Jonah and the resurrection timeline to fit three days and three nights?
The discussion emphasizes that the math must reflect three complete days; the resurrection cannot be Friday to Sunday if counting strictly, and a Wednesday or Saturday scenario may better fit three full days and nights, depending on the timing of Passover and Holy Day observances.
Episode 1172: Afterburn | From Slavery to Freedom (Freeing Your Mind) | Part 2
Q: Is the idea here that we're supposed to go from being slaves to our feelings, to becoming slaves to our values or slaves to the Torah?
The discussion suggests a shift toward voluntary service, where one submits to a higher authority by choice, using rational thought to align emotions with obedience rather than being coerced by feelings.
Episode 1170: Afterburn | From Slavery to Freedom (Freeing Your Mind) | Part 1
Q: Is it possible to overcome recurring sinful patterns, or should you accept them as part of life?
Perseverance and intentional practice are emphasized; righteousness involves consistent effort, repentance, and forgiveness rather than expecting complete elimination of all struggles.
