  • Expert Advice From Someone Who Gets It

Amy has a simple way of explaining complex topics to her listeners so that you feel informed and included. She never “dumbs things down” and uses real science to back up what she and her guests discuss. I love that the strategies are actually REAL and not all theory. I love this podcast and appreciate Amy’s point of view so much! BTW- her books are great too.

  • Wildly Valuable Show

I've been following Amy for quite a while after she wrote her book, which is great. Her candor and transparency are refreshing in a world full of confusion and placating. This show, along with her "13 things" have been transformational for me and is something I often reference in my business, family, and podcast. Thanks for all you do, Amy. Can't wait to see what's next.

Q: Why should we start by looking at what's going right?
Starting with what's going right provides a foundation for understanding ourselves and solving problems; it prevents the tendency to fixate only on deficits and helps empower people to engage with their mental health more constructively.
325 — Harvard Psychiatrist: The #1 Mistake People Make When They Try to Work on Themselves with Dr. Paul Conti
