I’m a mom of a neurodiverse child struggling with ADHD and anxiety (also on autism spectrum) and I am coping with depression and suspect I also have ADHD.
The podcast is so informative with basis in science but simplified for the average person. And these two are just fun to listen to while learning about all of this.
Dr. Ilardi and his partner have made a great podcast series. I was fortunate enough to be one of Dr. Ilardi’s students and just like his lectures, you will be even more intrigued about each subject they discuss than you were before. His classes and this podcast are truly great to listen to for meaningful entertainment and as a student looking to learn more
I love this podcast! It offers such a different view of depression or mood issues. Not just “add another drug” options. I really wish more people would talk about this. My mother has been on loads of antidepressants for 45 years and it has caused as many issues as it’s helped. I truly wonder what that many years of meds has done to her brain. I truly believe it’s going to become more and more an issue. So this podcast offers ideas that few others are talking about in mental health.
Funny, practical and eye-opening, this pod is essential listening for anyone wanting to level-up their mental health or help others in their life who are struggling.
I love the camaraderie between Hew and Dr. Ilardi. They talk so insightfully about the reality of depression and the steps I can take toward healing depression. The thoughts of both offer hope from two different perspectives. Highly recommended.
