  • Narc dad

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while and it’s been very healing to understand the mind of a person who has narcissistic personality disorder. I would love to make a request. Please record a podcast explaining how a narcissistic parent treats a child. I would like to send it to both of my teenage daughters to help them understand who their dad is deep down. I know you have some similar podcast, but I would love something a little bit more specific. Thank you so much, Lee!

  • He’s still a narc

I used to enjoy his podcast but made the mistake of following him on social media platforms for more content but soon learned that he is still a narcissist as he couldn’t help himself but to get involved in political topics that had no place here. His narcissism wouldn’t allow him to sit back.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

THE ORPHAN OPTION: Going No Contact With a Toxic Family Tree
Q: What do you think of a therapist that plays both sides? I found out he admires my ex.
Therapists should be neutral and operate on the truth; if a therapist seems biased, it's reasonable to seek out someone who maintains neutrality.
THE COST OF STAYING: What Happens When You Won’t Leave a Narcissist
Q: Can happiness be found within a toxic relationship, or is it only possible after leaving?
True happiness in such dynamics is unlikely long-term; you can find moments of stability and peace through self-care, but lasting happiness typically comes from building a life outside the relationship.
THE COST OF STAYING: What Happens When You Won’t Leave a Narcissist
Q: How can I safely leave or reduce the risk if I decide to exit a narcissistic relationship?
Plan carefully, seek therapy or coaching, build a support network, and create personal boundaries and safety measures; leaving often requires time and protection rather than a dramatic, rushed choice.
THE FINAL DISCARD: Do Narcissists Ever Truly Leave You Alone?
Q: Will a narcissist ever leave you alone?
It varies; some will leave you alone when they no longer get a reaction or supply, while others may persist, triangulate, or stalk, making strategic choices about contact and boundaries essential.
GRADE A SUPPLY: Why the "Best" Partners are the Easiest to Replace 💎♻️
Q: What about when they act like they want to stay around? So they do like backup plans.
You can absolutely transition to the backup, meaning you go from being the main supply to a backup supply.
