I'd written and posted a review months ago. On further, listening I came to appreciate Mens Rea as a true listening delight always looked forward to. It has no flaws; personable host with a melifluous voice and no jarring personal agenda,It is interesting, showcases well-researched and un-sensationalized cases, a lack of poorly-recorded interviews or police calls, and it is not laden with loud, jarring adverts. Thank you. Long may you continue topping a crowded field of lesser efforts.
This has been a top class podcast, very well researched and delivered primarily by Sinead, the host. Unfortunately in recent times new episodes have become fewer and further between, leading to me and I’m sure others too, withdrawing from her patron subscriptions. This of course promotes the downward
Spiral of the release of new episodes.
This is a great archive of Ireland’s murderous past, featuring many of the countries high profile, and some lesser known killings. Well worth listening to.
excellent research by sinead, thank you for your time, effort and intelligence.
Understated host. Very detailed story. Even though it’s true crime, there is a calming effect. Perhaps that is due to the lovely music. 9-1-1 Calls With the Operator, Mens Rea & Casefile are my podcasts. Keep up the good work! Brenda Eyre
Long time listener- I miss the lovely Irish accent of the narrator
