  • Went downhill fast

Might as well rename this the I Hate Trump podcast. Such biased content. The President has had 3 attempts on his life, but Howie can’t see why 8647 from a former FBI head is an issue? Brain dead.

  • Your whining about the Washington Post

You had a good time while you were at the Washington Post. We get it. While you were making your relationship with the style and sports writers the Post developed a bias that you did not fight back against. Even to this day it takes a lot for your to identify bias. Sure we all miss Phylis’s Richmond and Tony Kornhiser but the local coverage was not enough for me to not cancel my subscription years ago because the bias on the news was overwhelming.

  • He no longer hides his hatred for Trump.

This was a great show when Howie shares the "Buzz" and his opinions and he took pride in the fact that both sides of the aisle couldn't tell where is allegiance lies. Well, that's has changed and he now clearly leans away from the right. Sad we can't get subjective information without bias any longer. Also, given he's been in the media forever he would benefit from learning to put whatever he is reading from from in front of the microphone bs constantly looking away and losing the sound quali... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

ROBBY SOAVE: Some media coverage of war "is just knee-jerk wanting the administration to fail. They don’t want to give Trump a win on anything.”
Q: What role should investigative journalism play during a military operation?
Investigative journalism should uncover relevant facts, verify official claims, and report on the consequences of actions, while resisting sensationalism and ensuring safety and accuracy in a volatile environment.
ROBBY SOAVE: Some media coverage of war "is just knee-jerk wanting the administration to fail. They don’t want to give Trump a win on anything.”
Q: Do you think media coverage of war is influenced by hostility toward the administration?
Yes, there can be a mix of hostile framing and a genuine pull to question the administration's decisions, but there are also voices genuinely concerned with accountability and the credibility of reporting.
TOMI LAHREN Calls Some Podcasters 'Disingenuous'
Q: And it's a few days later, and the story seems to have faded. Your thoughts?
Tomi Lahren notes the constant news cycle and emphasizes the need to keep critical issues in focus beyond the latest headlines, offering her perspective on how media sometimes moves on too quickly from significant events.
Trump Proclaimed He Didn’t Care About Oil Blockade, Now Drops F-Bomb Unless Iran Opens the Strait of Hormuz
Q: Well, do you favor, like, a 45-day ceasefire?
I think we have to, and I think both sides have leverage here. The rapid end would be beneficial, but it requires careful consideration of military and economic pressures to avoid a prolonged spike in oil prices.
Clay Travis: Trump Has ‘So Broken the Brain of His Critics’ that Whatever He Does on the War, Many Journalists and Democrats 'Immediately' Attack Him
Q: On the war with Iran, do you think most media organizations are being overly negative in their coverage?
Clay argues that there is a general societal bias toward negative news and that coverage often emphasizes bad events over the many ordinary, law-abiding aspects of daily life, while noting strategic diplomacy dynamics and the complexity of wartime reporting.
