  • The Panel Was Clueless Again

It never ceases to amaze me how corrupt and clueless the Swamp media is. Baier tends to be one of the best of a completely dishonest and mediocre group of journalists. In the episode discussing the criminal investigation of Fed Chair Powell, Baier and his panelists essentially agreed the spending $1.5 trillion on a building for bank is fine and a cost over-run of $600 million is no problem ( because everybody does it). Do these people even know any normal people outside of the Beltway? Most taxp... more

  • Excellent civil political discussions

The Bret Baier podcast is a great listen to those who appreciate a good and easily digestible political discussion of the topics of the day, but without the unfortunately typical acrimony, sensationalism, ideological, and rank partisanship.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ambassador Greer on Tariffs, USMCA & the Economy
Q: So, let's talk about the Section 301 tariffs, 60 economies affected here. How does this work? Why does it work?
The approach targets unfair trade practices on a country-by-country basis, aiming to level the playing field for American workers and companies by addressing specific barriers like forced labor laws and export subsidies, while continuing to balance market access with our trading partners.
The Case for America: Hugh Hewitt
Q: How do you see the case for America, considering all that you've studied and written about?
Hugh Hewitt emphasizes the enduring core of American self-rule, the rule of law, and the resilience of a system that allows individuals to pursue opportunity, while acknowledging current challenges like campus tensions and civil discourse. He also previews a broader, multi-book project and an innovative AI-interview concept with presidents.
Common Ground: Inside the Latest Effort to Establish Congressional Term Limits
Q: Have you decided whether you're going to run for president again?
The guests indicate current considerations about political futures, emphasizing that the focus remains on governance and policy reform rather than personal campaigns, while acknowledging the broader political landscape influencing such decisions.
Common Ground: Inside the Latest Effort to Establish Congressional Term Limits
Q: So what's the benefit versus the negative?
The hosts and guests discuss how term limits could refresh leadership and reduce entrenchment, but acknowledge the risks of losing institutional memory and effective governance, weighing whether a constitutional approach could address these tradeoffs.
The Case for America: FOX News Chief Political Analyst Brit Hume
Q: Brit, thanks for joining us. You know, as we're talking about this, if you were challenged with making the case for America at 250 years, where would you begin?
The case starts with who we are as a free people with a market economy and a long-standing commitment to liberty, which has anchored our strength through generations of trials and achievements.
