  • The Panel Was Clueless Again

It never ceases to amaze me how corrupt and clueless the Swamp media is. Baier tends to be one of the best of a completely dishonest and mediocre group of journalists. In the episode discussing the criminal investigation of Fed Chair Powell, Baier and his panelists essentially agreed the spending $1.5 trillion on a building for bank is fine and a cost over-run of $600 million is no problem ( because everybody does it). Do these people even know any normal people outside of the Beltway? Most taxp... more

  • Excellent civil political discussions

The Bret Baier podcast is a great listen to those who appreciate a good and easily digestible political discussion of the topics of the day, but without the unfortunately typical acrimony, sensationalism, ideological, and rank partisanship.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Common Ground: Tim Shriver on How to Solve Our Problems, Together
Q: Do you think there is a realistic path to easing divisions, and how do data and family dynamics play into that?
Shriver asserts that while politicians may not be ideal role models yet, the data shows a strong willingness among Americans to change and to engage in dignity-based conversations, starting at home and extending into civic life.
Common Ground: Tim Shriver on How to Solve Our Problems, Together
Q: What do you say to people who worry about bipartisan cooperation fading as elections approach?
Shriver argues that looking at races to see how candidates treat opponents with dignity can reveal practical evidence of how civility translates to problem-solving, and he urges voters to demand respectful leadership rather than contempt.
The Case for America: Steve Case
Q: If you were asked to make the case for America, what would be your main argument?
America remains the land of opportunity and possibility, a nation that continues to attract talent from around the world and a magnet for innovation, with a track record of pioneering advancements and a durable, if evolving, entrepreneurial spirit.
Exclusive: Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan
Q: How do you see the economy evolving in light of the war and tariffs?
The economy is in a reasonable shape with growth expectations still above last year's pace; inflation may be a bit higher due to energy and input costs, but consumer strength and business investment are supporting a positive outlook, with expectations for continued growth though at a moderated pace.
The Case for America: Author Arthur Brooks
Q: What underpins the idea that individuals should pursue happiness rather than rely on government promises?
Happiness comes from personal responsibility, meaningful work, and the opportunity to pursue one's own enterprise within a framework that protects individual rights; government should remove barriers, not guarantee happiness.
