Whiz thank you for all you do for veterans and first responders with PTSD. Sharing your journey back to God, health, and family has inspired many of us and shown us path we didn’t know existed. I wish Suzie and you the best with Sacred Warrior Fellowship and look forward to going on a retreat and rediscovering God.
I had the pleasure of speaking to Whiz about my experience with plant medicine and the divine nature of these sacraments. Whiz is a fantastic host and has a remarkable ability to pull stories from his speakers that offer lessons and hope of healing to others. Great work my Brother!
I had the great privilege of being on the show in July when the amazing Suzi interviewed me! I had been through sexual abuse as a child and struggled tremendously most of my life with ptsd and living my life through a trauma filter. I did psychedelic assisted therapy at age 37 and was completely healed in 8 hours! Their podcast was a great way for me to be able to share my story and I hope it could help someone else take the next steps in their own healing journey.
I've had the privilege of watching Matthew and Suzi Buckley evolve over the years, and I cannot express how inspiring their journey has been. They have faced numerous challenges as individuals, a couple, and a family, and it's been beautiful to witness their growth. Their ability to overcome adversity and emerge stronger—both mentally and spiritually—is truly commendable.

The show blends veteran perspectives, spirituality, and candid discussions about healing from trauma with calls to action — including fundraising, retreats, and policy reforms — while highlighting the missions of allied nonprofits. Notable is a consistent emphasis on mind–body–soul care, ethical considerations around sacred plant medicines, and a mission-driven stance to support veterans and first responders through faith-based pathways and community support. The format tends to feature vulnerable personal storytelling, expert or guest insights, and ... more
