  • Grateful for this podcast

I’ve listened to about it 10 episodes. I tried therapy and NA support but no one really understands what we are needing and it’s to hear that support and love from someone else going through that. Not just to tell us that we need accept the things we can’t change but to give us tools and reality, we have 1 kid and 1 on the way and my husband relapsed to kratom (gas station opioids) he previously used opioids. Thank you very much for this podcast I was referred by another mom on Facebook

This podcast it’s so helpful for helping us as wives of alcoholics to function in a healthier way. I wasn’t even sure that my husband really was an alcoholic, but I’ve come to the conclusion that he is after listening to almost all of the episodes. Thank you, Julie for the work you do in this world.

This podcast has helped me so much. I feel like I am emotionally hanging on by a thread right now. I pray my husband can stick with the new sober journey. But I am so glad I found this podcast and am seeking a counselor for myself. Thank you!

  • Great Info but community is behind a paywall

First, I understand and believe that the host should absolutely be compensated for the work she has put into her resource library. It’s an extensive amount of work and from what I’ve seen, she’s done a wonderful job.

However, I find myself frequently discouraged that in order to access Christian COMMUNITY in this space, we have to pay. I can find community for free in AL-Anon and SMART programs, but to get support from Christian sisters, I have to pay?

Christian community should be free. I’ll... more
