The Ten Landmarks of Israel Lesson 4: Israel’s Constitution (Part 2)
Q: Could you explain just a little bit more about what each time it says Kingdom of Heaven, how do we...?
Kingdom of Heaven in the Gospels and Kingdom of God are interchangeable, with Matthew using the former due to Jewish customs about not saying God's name.
The Ten Landmarks of Israel Lesson 4: Israel’s Constitution (Part 2)
Q: What happened to the Canaanites?
A lot of them were destroyed, but not all of them. They ended up being a snare to the Israelites because they didn't obey God completely.
Learn to Effectively Share the Gospel with your Jewish Friends
Q: How do the Jewish people accept the New Testament?
Most Jewish people see the New Testament as a Christian book, and many have never read it.
Learn to Effectively Share the Gospel with your Jewish Friends
Q: If you were going to categorize Jewish people... which ones are the most difficult, would you say, to approach...
The difficulty varies greatly; it’s much more about the individual than the group identity.
The Ten Landmarks of Israel Lesson 6: Israel’s Catastrophe
Q: When Jesus came, then we're supposed to follow the Abrahamic covenant. So, it seems like we don't have to celebrate the Sabbath, and we don't have to follow the Ten Commandments, per se, because we're taking Jesus as holy each and every day.
The discussion highlights that the Sabbath is the only commandment not repeated in the New Testament, indicating it was specific for a certain time and people.
