Decades later, his niece, Dorothy Marcic, transformed herself into an amateur detective in a quest for truth and closure about that night. At the center of Dorothy’s investigation is S... more

3.3 out of 5 stars from 1.7k ratings
  • So skewed as to be hard too listen to

The niece that seems to be the main source of information is out of her mind. At some point my husband and I started assuming anything she said wasn’t worth believing. She decided facts and then worked backwards to “prove” her point. We were both angry and yelling at the radio by the end. Probably not worth a listen, unless you want to be extremely sympathetic to the accused.

  • Smarmy, overdone narration unbearable

Just tell us the story without the high school drama class acting.

  • Promises that were not delivered is how I would describe this podcast. The premise has a potential for a solid 6 or 10 episodes, if the research/production team(s) took creative control instead of relying on a single narrative promoted by the niece of the murder victim who had a vendetta against the ex-wife of her uncle. There are individuals who investigate cases thoroughly while others are fixated on a single suspect and can’t see past this person.

I don’t think this podcast adds anything to... more

  • Terrible

Disjointed. Awful narration. So many “facts” that seem unfounded. The main writer is simply terrible. The “ screen writer” and “investigator” are truly feeling themselves and sound like they’re making things up. Throwing so many things at the wall that are obviously nonsense. Someone please explain the pride in the music. Weird covers of songs and original music that is often too loud and has no business being placed where it is. I have never given an podcast less than 5 stars because I feel as ... more
