  • Relatable and Simple

Andrea makes things super easy to understand and breaks something that may seem unattainable into small incremental steps. She focuses on not just your physical health, but your overall well being as a human. I find her to be extremely relatable in the season of life we are both in and appreciate how she incorporates that into her podcasts. Not everyone can dedicate 5-6 days a week to working out for 60-90 minutes. She gives you a way to have wins all day every day. I’m thankful I found her inst... more

266. What You Need to Know About Cycle Syncing: Part 1 with Dr. Alyssa Olenick
Q: First, can you explain to us what cycle syncing is?
Cycle syncing is the idea of adjusting workout type and intensity based on the phase of the menstrual cycle, but the science shows substantial variability and there isn't a universal, one-size-fits-all protocol. It's more nuanced, and individuals should consider auto-regulation and foundational health when planning training.

Q: What is something about the fitness industry that people misunderstand?
Dr. Meghan explained that people often think physical therapy only addresses injuries, while it should also incorporate strength training and preventive measures.
259. The Connection Between Hip Rotation and Knee and Back Pain with Dr. Meghan Sak-Ocbina
Q: How did you get into this field?
Dr. Meghan shared that she became a physical therapist after experiencing an injury as an athlete and being inspired by her physical therapist who was also an athletic trainer.
239. The Power of Reverse Dieting with Kaley Cline
Q: What would you want that woman to know?
Don't give up, keep doing it, and there’s hope. Everyone's journey is different, but it's worth it.
237. Mastering ADHD with Brooke Schnittman
Q: How can parents help children with ADHD develop good habits and routines?
Parents should meet children where they are, establish priorities, and use collaborative problem-solving to encourage engagement without intimidation.
