  • LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!

I was recently a guest on the show, and let me tell you, I absolutely loved the conversation the three of us had about narcissistic abuse. Raquel and Jennifer were so gracious to have read my book prior to my appearance on the show, and were therefore well-prepared with thought-provoking questions. Made a great episode. And after being on over 150 podcasts, this is one I'll actually subscribe and listen to!

252. Love and Narcissism with guest Dr. Susan E. Schwartz
Q: What does the Echo myth illuminate about society and gender dynamics?

252. Love and Narcissism with guest Dr. Susan E. Schwartz
Q: Can narcissists feel love, and why is it so hard for them to be vulnerable?
Extreme narcissists resist vulnerability as it threatens their sense of control and self-definition; but with self-work and healthy relationships, the capacity for emotional closeness can emerge, though it remains challenging.
