An always insightful and entertaining show. Lunar has done so much to promote and archive the Spoken Word Scene in the UK.
Apologies as I am very late to the feast but wanted to say thank you to David, his wife and the poets contributing for such joyful experiences. I agree with others who have written that David is a great interviewer, obviously fully of humanity but also due to a willingness to share of himself. This willingness, for me, means that there is a greater depth to the discussions, so critical I feel, to any consideration of poetry and other literature. Thanks a million.
David Turner has produced and directed some of the most brilliant interviews in Poetry Webland. So much is revealed about the poets, their work and their intentions with creating poetry. The fact that the podcasts are archived is vital as they will serve future critics, poets and scholars.
My favourite poetry podcast - so many brilliant writers to choose from. David Turner is a highly accomplished interviewer and each guest has something special to share. Very highly recommended !
Lunar always pushes the boundaries with exciting new poetry. Great podcast!
