Two thoroughly enjoyable people having delightful conversations about the origin of words. But the podcast is so much more than that. The humor, digressions, and asides make this podcast hugely entertaining as well as educational. Let's hope Gyles and Susie have a long running hit with this. If you liked the old BBC program, My Word, you'll love this.
It is a joy to listen to Suzie and Gyles and has quickly become my favourite thing to listen to. Keep up the great work.
Love it! Smart, entertaining, and educational! A++
I’ve listened to this show since the first episode but there now seems to be about three minutes of pre-roll adverts and a similar amount in the ‘advert break’. Not to mention that they are never relevant to me.
When you do a podcast, what you do in other spheres influences people’s views of you. Giles being up in arms about the “wokery” of using the word chest feeding on This Morning means I will not be listening again. What a load of rubbish.
