Great concept ruined by d list Stand ups using the platform to plug there own shows or brand of comedy, every episode revolves around either sexism or racism rather than focusing on shocking discoveries or interesting facts not known originally. Maybe do more reserch like in the first series
Good if you want to hear history rewritten with the words “micro aggression”, “colonialism”, and “cultural appropriation” by a moderator and panelists that represent one extreme viewpoint. Otherwise, not so much…

I LOVE this podcast. It highlights that our society has celebrated genius while sweeping their evil actions under the carpet. Subtly asking if it’s been worth it by forcing panelists to choose between evil or genius. A conversation amongst comedians respectfully discussing the uncomfortable subjects makes them a lot less difficult to listen to. Absolutely love this!! Discovered the show on bbc sounds a couple of weeks ago! Just listened to the Elvis ep, and was genuinely gripped.
For me the show strikes a perfect balance, funny, informative, at times emotive and very entertaining. Love it!
