  • Grace is great. Too many dodgy adverts

I’m a huge fan of Grace Dent and the concept is perfect for a Podcast. The adverts are a problem though: too many and random - from mental health to bloomin’ cat food (I don’t believe Grace has consumed Purina cat food, but she’s very effusive). I skip 10-15 minutes of each episode.

  • KKK member

Grace Dent is a grand wizard of an Alabama chapter of the KKK. She is a vile racist woman who views the KKK as a ‘social club’ instead of the hateful racist institution that it is.

As a mum, I did spend more time doing stuff with the kids than I would have if I were a bloke.
S10, Ep11: Sally Wainwright, TV writer
Q: How would you sit down with those actors and explain what your two parents were like?
I grew up in quite a weird household... it was a tense environment that made me introspective and thoughtful.

Q: If you're in a band, what would you play?
Drums, because that's what I've learned to play over the last two years while writing Riot Women.
S10, Ep12: Fatiha El-Ghorri, comedian
Q: So for her, she was just like, you know, parents want to see you settled and they want to see you happy. So that was her problem.
Divorce is allowed in Islam. It's not the faith itself that makes it taboo, but the culture and tradition.

Q: Can you see what's fizzing around my eyes as you say that? Can you see the question? Well, hang on a minute. Not even water?
Yeah, that's why I said... No, but I don't mind. Like, I'm like, at least.
