Grace Dent has a beautiful way of getting memories and food stories out of her guests. She is so natural with her questions and this draws more out of the guests. It also is well researched which gives us a wonderful insight into their lives so far. I love having this on whilst I potter about at home -working my way through the back catalog
A third of the podcast - so annoying
Realise the guardian has to make money but this is ridiculous
Absolutely up there as one of my favourite podcasts. Grace is so funny and warm with her guests, she makes an excellent interviewer.
I’m a huge fan of Grace Dent and the concept is perfect for a Podcast. The adverts are a problem though: too many and random - from mental health to bloomin’ cat food (I don’t believe Grace has consumed Purina cat food, but she’s very effusive). I skip 10-15 minutes of each episode.
