Denise’s calm and funny advice for mindful drinking is a great balm for the nuttiness we find ourselves on a night out. Thank you!
I’m not drinking at the moment but I don’t have - nor have I ever had - a serious problem with alcohol. Practical, real-world guidance for midlife adults who want to drink less without quitting. The show emphasizes behavior change strategies over willpower, shares actionable techniques for before, during, and after social occasions, and often plugs structured programs or vault resources to support personalized moderation journeys. A notable throughline is reframing drinking as a flexible, values-driven choice rather than an all-or-nothing pursuit, and it frequently highlights how midlife biology, social dynamics, and routines shape outcomes.
