From Coming On Strong by Broken English and The Order Of The McVitie's Hobnob, to whichever TV programme it was that ended with footage of dandelion seeds being blown away, we're here to try and help, and to confirm that n... more

This is a great podcast full of interesting insights and fab memories. I love that the history Tim wants to get more female guests on and plans to in the future. đ
Great! Apart from the ones a) with female guests and b) featuring Mitch Benn. These are easily skipped.
Itâs strange getting to the age when you start to realise that you arenât remembering things the way they were, and this show is the perfect place to refresh memories you werenât sure you really had. I discovered this after becoming disgruntled with the ânew lookâ of the Scarred For Life podcast. If you were born anytime between 1965 and 1990, thereâs probably going to be something here for you, but, speaking as a 70s baby, the sweet spot is 1970 to 1980. Excellent stuff.
Great podcast about obscure things from childhood and beyond.
Please keep them coming Tim, found the pod about 4 months ago, absolutely love it, but Iâve been through the lot so my future consists of going through them all again until some more get released

Guests share personal recollections, production trivia, and cultural context around obscure TV moments, music, ads, and toys, often highlighting how memory can diverge fromRecorded history. Episodes tend to weave between affectionate reminiscence and sharp observations about archival gaps, regional quirks, and the quirky charm of past media. The format often features a rotating roster of writers, illustrators, performers, and media historians who bring a mix of memory, critique, and entertainment, making it a strong pick for listeners who love cross-era pop culture deep dives and personal anecdotes... more
