Dear Listeners,
This is Rebecca writing the episode notes and I feel completely inept at writing Dune filled puns. That is what Maddie Daddie is for. Instead I'm just going to thank you from the depths of our souls for listening to our episode abou... more
This year we accidentally made a very good choice of what to cover for our holiday episode. It began with wanting to discuss A Muppets Christmas Carol which then evolved into wanting to discuss the other adaptations and retellings of the Christmas cl... more
It's been a while since we've done one of these but this week we're bringing you a Topical Episode on Comparison. We approach it from some different angles and were honestly a little surprised how many ways you can discuss it. Madelaine Turner discus... more

Madelaine & Rebecca are seriously brainy & very entertaining. You’ll get the best of high culture & pop culture, with insights both humorous and scholorly. Great chemistry between the hosts - and the episodes never drag - 90 minutes well spent!
It’s hard to find podcasts that are super smart & literary, but also super funny, but also super comforting. Love everything about the hosts and their relationship. Also didn’t realize the user name I created to review a Taylor Swift podcast would stick with me for life and am regretting that.
Classic English literature and history and pop culture and feelings? Sign me up, cowboy. A charming duo that is reminiscent of the easy conversation between Trixie and Kayta.
The discussion is great. Very enjoyable. Entertaining. Feel like a part of the conversation.
How could a podcast about lonely girls make me feel so much less lonely? Thank you Maddie and Rebecca for making me feel like there are people out there who also relate to all the things I feel and care about. This podcast is so interesting, on point, and above all fun 🥹
