  • Why does Dr gladden feel the need to say "right"?, right"?, "right" at the end of so many of his sentences? This terrible vocal crutch seems to be everywhere these days... Right?

From Reactive Care to Preventive Longevity - Episode 352

He describes a two-pronged approach: high-tech monitoring (genetics, wearables, AI) and high-touch lifestyle/psychosocial coaching to optimize the patient's biology and encourage adherence.
From Reactive Care to Preventive Longevity - Episode 352
Q: What should it be? What is your mitochondria telling us?
The guest explains that aging and disease are interconnected through systems biology, with oxidative stress and stress biology being central, and emphasizes a shift toward understanding each patient's unique biology to tailor interventions.
The Microbial Connection to Autoimmunity - Episode 349
Q: What is the fundamental process that connects different chronic illnesses in your view?
Cellular dysfunction driven by impaired autophagy and microbial activity appears to be a common denominator; by protecting cells from stress and restoring autophagy/mitophagy, you can stabilize multiple organ systems and reduce the burden of chronic illness.
The Microbial Connection to Autoimmunity - Episode 349
Q: Tell us how you unraveled the knot there, and what your therapies ended up looking like.
The therapy evolved from conventional antibiotic approaches to a holistic, repeatable protocol that prioritizes calming the nervous system, supporting cellular resilience with adaptogenic herbs, and addressing dormant microbes through targeted herbal antimicrobials and holistic lifestyle changes, yielding long-term improvements.
The Future of Regenerative Joint Repair - Episode 347
Q: What is the Bear ACL restoration and how does it differ from reconstruction?
Bear ACL restoration uses a collagen implant to bridge torn ACL ends, allowing the body to heal across a scaffold without removing native tissue, which can lower arthritis risk compared to traditional reconstruction and preserve proprioception, though it is still subject to individual healing variability.
