  • Why does Dr gladden feel the need to say "right"?, right"?, "right" at the end of so many of his sentences? This terrible vocal crutch seems to be everywhere these days... Right?

The Future of Regenerative Joint Repair - Episode 347
Q: What is the Bear ACL restoration and how does it differ from reconstruction?
Bear ACL restoration uses a collagen implant to bridge torn ACL ends, allowing the body to heal across a scaffold without removing native tissue, which can lower arthritis risk compared to traditional reconstruction and preserve proprioception, though it is still subject to individual healing variability.
The Future of Regenerative Joint Repair - Episode 347
Q: Is there any way to cure arthritis? Is there any way to repair a knee and not replace it?
The guest explains that while traditional healing has relied on replacements, regenerative techniques like the BEAR procedure offer a way to repair torn ACLs and potentially reduce the long-term risk of arthritis, though not eliminating it entirely. The emphasis is on preserving natural tissue, maintaining proprioception, and reducing inflammation to allow healing.
Combating Lyme, Detoxification, and Lifestyle Health - Episode 344
Q: How do you approach diagnosing Bartonella when standard tests come back negative?
Diagnosis is often clinical and relies on specialized lab testing (e.g., Galaxy Labs) and a thorough review of patient history, exposure, and symptom patterns; blood tests can be negative even with infection due to nervous system seeding, so clinicians may proceed with treatment based on likelihood and response to therapy.
Unlocking Cognitive Potential: The Nootropic Journey - Episode 343
Q: So if you're not taking [nootropics] now, what are you doing to optimize cognitive ability?
The guest emphasizes a systems biology approach plus foundational health practices, suggesting tailored, data-driven decisions about nootropics, environment, sleep, and stress management to optimize cognition over time.
The Science of Anxiety and How to Manage It - Episode 340
Q: Where can people find you if they want to learn more?
She directs listeners to learntruehealth.com, where her anxiety course, book, and podcast episodes are available.
