  • Shut up

About politics… no one wants your opinion on politics or biomedical matters. Speak to the topic which you’ve studied and leave the rest to others. Idiot.

  • Interesting insight into the music world

I love this podcast because it is such a interesting peak behind the scenes of what I would say are just regular working musicians. I am not a musician but a fan and I love hearing these stories from people I know of and don't know about and the stories behind the scenes. I am looking foward to hearing future episdodes. Valerie Day is not only a great vocalist but a excellent interviewer.

Wise, witty, brilliant women talking about music, art and living the performer’s life...Who could ask for anything more? There’s so much take away from these conversations. Valerie’s gracious warmth invites her guests to share their experiences and insights as they navigate their chosen profession. This is not just for singers. It’s a gift to anyone pondering the challenge of living as an artist, regardless of the medium.

  • Insightful and Entertaining

I have been a fan of Valerie's since my first dip into "Poolside" in the summer of 1986. The music of Nu Shooz resonated with me. Shortly after I joined Twitter and began my own blogging about music, Valerie and I connected there as well. I have always found her to be pleasant, friendly and positive. All of those traits and more are reflected in her latest efforts - this podcast. I look forward to her insights and those of the guest singers she brings on to tell their stories. If you are a... more
