I am an obesity medicine specialist… the quote that “for patients who are using this to lose only 15-20 lbs, it’s probably not appropriate” is ignorant and simplistic. I specialize in the south Asian and East Asian population and 15-20 lbs can be a lot for a patient who’s height is 58 inches. To use a GLPs as a jumpstart doesn’t go deep into the science of obesity. You should have someone who is board certified in Obesity Medicine in your team at MiORa - you might get a different take.

  • Podcasting is an uphill battle, just like fitness

I think this effort makes sense (probably in coordination with YouTube).

The electrolytes episode was impressive as were other episodes.

LifeTime has alot of reconition as fitness experts, which lends itself well to producing this show. Now would be an excellent time for LifeTime to exit the alcohol business to solidify its reputation as a reolutute vendor of fitness services and advice!

  • More Lifetime Live/Work episodes please :-)

Thanks - I thought this was amazing, so amazing that I had to drive 5 hours to see the Lifetime Sienna location for myself. The LT Work lounge was done so beautifully. What an incredible project. My first time ever visiting an LT work location, visiting a LT Living location is next. I wish there were Lifetime Live/Work episodes like this.

  • From a lifetime founding member

Not five minutes into this podcast which is supposed to be about health, fitness & lifestyle the hosts starred in on DEI.

Affectively hate speech against anybody. That is not a person of color. I pay my dues at lifetime just like everybody else why should I be excluded from events because of the color of my skin.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

S12 E21: Taking Your Supplement Regimen to the Next Level with Jim LaValle, RPh, CCN (Performance & Longevity Series)
Q: What are the most exciting next-gen delivery methods for supplements and why do they matter?
Delivery technologies like liposomal formulations and nanoparticle-based approaches improve absorption, making nutrients more bioavailable and allowing users to experience tangible benefits rather than relying on traditional pills that may have poor uptake.
S12 E20: Setting Intentions and World Records: Meet Life Time Performer Austin Head
Q: What are two non-negotiable health habits for you that you do regardless of circumstances?
Sleep of seven hours as a non-negotiable baseline, and a consistent supplement routine using Lifetime products; together they underpin daily energy, recovery, and overall health.
S12 E15: Power Up Your Mitochondria: A Look at Mitochondrial Health With Jim LaValle, RPh, CCN (Performance & Longevity Series)
Q: Why is mitochondrial health central to overall health and aging?
Because mitochondria control energy production and cellular signaling; when they function poorly, energy declines, inflammation rises, and multiple organ systems are affected, accelerating aging and risk for chronic disease.
S12 E17: How to Care for Our Skin as We Age with Carrie Lucio, APRN, CNP (Performance & Longevity Series)
Q: How should someone approach a skincare routine today for aging skin?
Start with a solid cleanser and moisturizer, then add sunscreen daily, and include anti-aging actives like growth factors or retinol at night, with optional PRF or microneedling for more advanced needs.
S12 E17: How to Care for Our Skin as We Age with Carrie Lucio, APRN, CNP (Performance & Longevity Series)
Q: What are the lifestyle factors that accelerate or slow aging of the skin?
Key factors include sun exposure, hydration, nutrition, stress management, and sleep; these influence skin hydration, oil production, and overall tissue health, and should be addressed together for best long-term results.
