This podcast rocks. As a person who was always in the theater as a kid and now reviews movies and interviews actors as an adult I find this a must listen!
Besides being educational and influential, it’s also very entertaining to listen to! The way that Tyler connects with the audience, and the person they’re interviewing is phenomenal. Even without a background in theatre, I feel like anyone could gain a little something from these podcasts.
Great to hear a variety of speakers and topics! Great questions!

I write screenplays and work in film, but I love going to theater to see the stripped down versiono of the stories I tell. Tyler does a great job of navigating the history and structures of theater, and the differences between theater regionally. Awesome!
During this godforsaken community theatre production of the Insanity of Mary Girard’s Actor’s Nightmare that 2020 has decided to make us all sit through and pay for, this podcast has been a ghostlight in the dark for me. Hearing from our rich community, gives hope in some insanely trying times for theatre folx everywhere and in every aspect of the profession. So proud and glad to hear from some of our mentors and professionals in MI - exciting to consider what the future will look like! Hang in ... more

As someone who works in a pretty obscure corner of theatre, this podcast is a huge breath of fresh air and so very validating.
When I tell you that this sweet soul manages to draw a listener in, vibes well with guests, AND entertains! If you have any love for the stage or for people who love it, this is the podcast you need to listen to. Period.
