Eva + Kami are two old-ish moms confronting our reasons for being obese while losing weight on semaglutide and tirzepatide, and roasting our past selves. Sarcasm is our happy place. Follow us on Instagram @lessofyoupodcast. After a friend (who is a plastic surgeon) talked Eva into starting semaglutide in February of 2023, she lost 70 pounds in 14 months, alternating between long stretches of being... more

After an important discussion about the microwave (also known as the micro-wah-vay), we theorize that GLP-1s are basically commoditized now.
Meanwhile, to fix the microwave door, Eva's husband drove actual screws through it (that’s not how microwav... more

I binged all the episodes in about a week a month after starting Tirzepatide. I love hearing about Eva and Kami’s successes, struggles, and general journeys—both with weight loss and life. They are each unique but both so relatable, and I was extra delighted when I learned that Eva is also in Austin like me! I really hope they produce more episodes. Thank you, Kami and Eva for this podcast. It is a gem! I wish you both the best.
Very little talk about semaglutide. What potential content there is, is derailed by off-topic rabbit holes and the original (useful) content is not addressed again. Most podcast sessions don’t address any aspect of sema, or their experiences on it.I did like that there were a couple of guests, (doctors) on the show. Those podcasts had valuable information.

Discovered this podcast quite early into my own weight loss journey and really like it. I would say that it’s not extremely weight loss focused and it is more social/ lifestyle. Which is fine, I wouldn’t exactly seek it out for advice though. The gals are funny and charming. I think one gal is closer to the end of her journey which may contribute to a lack of urgency in the actual topic of weight loss. I think some episodes they don’t even go over their progress/ numbers. If you are looking for ... more
I am currently taking semaglutide and these ladies are very relatable. I enjoy hearing them laugh at themselves - we should all take a page from the Eva and Kami playbook. I look forward to each episode although I wish they would do two episodes week rather than biweekly.

Two moms share candid, humorous updates about living with weight loss medications like semaglutide and tirzepatide, balancing parenting, work, and mental health. Episodes mix personal milestones with practical realities, discussing access to meds, body image, holidays, and family dynamics, all while exploring what life looks like with less “you” and how to navigate food, addiction, and societal pressures along the way. A notable angle is the authentic, self-deprecating camaraderie between hosts, offering relatable storytelling for listeners on similar journeys and for sponsors seeking health- and family-focused audiences.
