  • Love the guests, host not so much.

A+ selection of guests. Lena clearly admires the guests and recognizes the collective appreciation of the audience for her guests. I find her questions to be ridiculously one note: “what was that like for you How was that for you? What were you thinking?” Luckily, her guests have suce experience that they can fill in the gaps but the questioning drives me nuts. There are also times when she praises the guests (and they certainly deserve their flowers) but she uses this grandiloquent language tha... more

  • Like no other podcast…

Lena Waithe knows when to talk and ask questions and when to let her guests talk.

One of the few podcasts where the host doesn’t make it about them. Which tells us so much about her as a person and allows us to really hear the guests.

  • Great so far!

Loving the show so far! Great guests and great conversations. My only critique would be is I wish the episodes were longer, especially given the breadth of the guests’ careers.
