Consistent favorite!
This has been my go-to resource for sermon preparation for years. The two are great about making connections between the lectionary readings, telling stories worth repeating, and giving food for thought as I prepare to peach.
I like the personal but concise presentation, theologically grounded and listenable.
I always listen to this podcast because Delmer helps me find the overarching theme. I’ve not always been a lectionary preacher so I find this helpful. I like the fact they give a few options for preaching the text too. Very helpful! And far from stuffy academic types.
This podcast is a great resource for each week’s lectionary texts. The mix of humor and wisdom they bring to each week’s text make it a must-listen each week!
