As we all can attest to, Latinos are taught to work hard, be loyal, keep your head down and don’t make waves. But at times that comes with personal, emotional and financial struggles when we don’t speak up or exercise our given rights, rights that come easily to our white privileged coworkers or friends. These stories remind us that strong Latino women have put everything on the line to stand up for their rights, self respect and taught us we also can do the same. Listening to Sandra and Sylvia talk about Sylvia’s case was like a therapy session. Mexicans work so hard, and are often put through situations at work that are dehumanizing and wrong.
I was able to relate to so many of the things and situations. Having someone in your corner who can knows you have been wronged really makes you feel validated.
Thank you for providing your community with another resource, your time is so important, and you are using it to help your people!
Que viva la Raza!
Amazing attorney sharing great insights! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️❤️
