A very open-minded, sensitive and respectful approach to issues around faith crises, concerns over family and community connections, acceptance, boundaries and space for differing views and choices. Two young men who are introspective about themselves and others. Good insights and light, friendly, understanding conversation and comments. I’m impressed.

#040 -- "You Don't Struggle With This": Women & P*rnography in LDS Culture (w/ Madi Davis)
Q: How did you recognize there was a need for a platform like yours, and what were initial apprehensions?
Madi describes a personal history of feeling isolated and perceiving a gap in church conversations about women's sexuality and pornography, which motivated her to create open, accessible discussions that can be shared with leaders and family members. Initial apprehensions centered on stigma and vulnerability, but she found a supportive response as people observed the value of honest dialogue.
#017 -- Modesty, Masturbation, and Misogyny: A Feminist Take on Mormon Purity Culture
Q: Do you feel like the messaging that you got as a male was different than the messaging that women got?
Yes, the messaging differed in emphasis—men were framed around controlling desires and avoiding pornography, while women were framed as the guardians of virtue and modesty—yet both sides reinforced a hierarchy and complicated personal sexuality.
#027 -- Serving a Mission on Instagram ft. Baylie Clarke
Q: How do you handle controversy or pushback online?
Baylie discusses choosing to hear people out and focusing on sharing personal experiences and insights rather than engaging in heated debate, while acknowledging the importance of not misconstruing others' questions or experiences.
#027 -- Serving a Mission on Instagram ft. Baylie Clarke
Q: Do you see ex-Mormons as a target audience for your content?
She clarifies that ex-members are not her primary audience, but she uses the ex-Mormon hashtag strategically to reach people who might be exploring doubts, while emphasizing that her content is aimed at deeper church topics.
#027 -- Serving a Mission on Instagram ft. Baylie Clarke
Q: What inspired you to start sharing about faith online?
Baylie explains that conversations with her mother and deep discussions about gospel topics sparked a desire to share insights online so others could benefit from the perspectives she's learned.
