  • Highly educational and inspiring

Can’t recommend this podcast strongly enough. I’ve learned so much about an incredibly wide variety of aspects of land management. It helps ramp-up the learning curve and focus my work on the farm. A must-listen for any land owner and even for folks hunting public land, the information applies to your scouting and hunting strategies and would be useful to prospective land owners searching for ground.

  • Torn - good info but S&F non-habitat content is queationable

Love the original content and the S&F habitat content is good but those guys occasionally sound like racists. Suggest sticking to what you know and leave the foreigner and dr visit content out. Would be five stars if they stick to sawdust and fire.

What is the Best Cover for Whitetail Deer?! Land Beat Q&A
Q: What age of forest would you recommend for a property?
I would try to encourage diversity on some of these other sites and would much rather have more woodlands than a closed canopy forest.
Step by Step Food Plot Install Breakdown
Q: What tools are available for converting a fallow field to a food plot?
Evaluate the soil and vegetation, mow down existing plants, spray to kill them, and then use tillage to prepare the soil for planting.
How Drone Technology May Change the Way You Manage Your Land
Q: How can someone reach out if they're in your service area?
People can contact me through Instagram or Facebook at Accu-drone Solutions.
How Drone Technology May Change the Way You Manage Your Land
Q: How do you feel that impacts wildlife?
The use of herbicides can negatively affect habitat by reducing food sources and cover for wildlife, depending on land management goals.
LandBeat Breakdown: In Depth Timber Evaluation
Q: What is the best way to thin cherry stems that are dominating an area?
If they are 3 inches and greater, I would hack and squirt them; if they are smaller, you could try fire and then foliar treat the sprouts instead.
