Engaging, emotional, powerful. I laughed, gasped out loud, and cried as I listened. A timely story and I am glad it is finally being told.
Beautifully narrated and sound designed.

Overall an excellent history of the start of JPL. One comment - the current political bias should have been excluded. Perhaps MG might want to go back and edit her comments about Russian collusion in light of new information.

A narrative-driven series spotlighting California innovators and their broader impact, with a focus on underrepresented contributors and historically overlooked stories. Across recent episodes, the show tends to explore bold ideas, policy intersections, and cultural context, often blending archival or on-the-ground reporting with interviews from industry experts, journalists, and community voices. Noteworthy is the show's impulse to illuminate hidden histories and to situate technical or cultural milestones within social and political movements, making it appealing to listeners who enjoy well-researched storytelling that connects technology, policy, and society to everyday life.
