  • Please make it useful

Needs some content headers in order that people can find topics of interest to them, instead of the same description of what the show is repeated every week. Would love to come here and look for references to Coltan mining, Congo, Africom, guests interviewed, or other topic headers but there is no guide here or on the KPFA website to make this archive accessible. I can’t listen to it all….

  • The BEST African News Program I've heard!!

And I've heard a quite a few. Walter Turner does a thorough job examining some of the most important issues that get completely ignored in American mainstream media. You won't be disappointed. Keep up the great work!!

  • Very Informative

Most of the programs are very informative. The program provides really great news stories and conducts interviews on important issues relating to Africa and the African Diaspora. The best, and so far the only, news radio podcast on Africa. The music on the program is also a great mix of traditional African music and contemporary African pop and hip hop artists.
